Henry Rongomau Bennett Memorial Scholarships
The Henry Rongomau Bennett Memorial Scholarship Programme has been established by the Henry Rongomau Bennett Memorial Scholarship Board (the Board) with funding from the Ministry of Health.
The overall purposes of the scholarships are to develop and build:
Leadership in Maori Mental health
Competence in te ao Maori and
Clinical excellence in mental health.
The following scholarships and grants are available in 2006:
1. Mental health workers
2. Child and adolescent mental health services
3. Mental health nurses
4. Fifth Year medical students
5. Registrars entering in the psychiatry programme
6. Psychologists
Applications and Selection Timeline

Applications Close
Beginning May
Applicants short listed
End May
Short listed candidates to attend interview in Auckland (Note that some grants will be solely based on the application received and no interviews will be held).
Mid June 2006
Candidates informed if they have been successful or unsuccessful.
Scholarships and grant awarded as per their conditions.
